48 MW Gas Turbine Simple Cycle Power Barge

Barge mounted Siemens-Westinghouse W251B11 simple cycle gas turbine with a nominal rated output of ~48 MW at ISO conditions1. She was built in 1996 using proven and reliable technologies. The barge has been run in Kenya for less than 30,000 hours between 1997 and 2004 when the previous owners failed to renew the power contract.
